PNP UK Urges Jamaican PM Holness to Cut Ties with Contractor Over Racist Remarks
4 March 2026PNP UK has written to UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak demanding the review and revocation of NHS contracts with The Phoenix Partnership, owned by Frank Hester. Following Hester’s racist and misogynistic comments targeting MP Diane Abbott, PNP UK argues he is unqualified for roles in healthcare management and calls for the Conservative Party to return his donations, citing concerns about discriminatory algorithms in healthcare services.
PNPUK is most deeply concerned with the recent comment allegedly made by Frank Hester, a major donor to the conservative party and more importantly a government contractor of health services. The egregious comments not only appear to condone hatred of black women but outrageously implies the assassination of Diane Abbott, a black female Member of Parliament.
More broadly the alleged perpetrator of what is now widely regarded as racist and misogynistic nakedness may have also agitated those who already harbour deep, dangerous, and violent visions fed by their irrational hatred of black women. You will understand that these allegations imbued with the incitement to violence, the hatred of black women and the call to assassinate a black woman is especially dangerous. The 2016 assassination of Helen Cox MP illustrates the tragic outcome of incitement to violence.
Diane Abbott’s plight and the nakedly racist and misogynistic comments seems embedded in medical practice and the health care afforded to black women who are amongst other unfortunate circumstances, four times more likely to die in childbirth than white women and are at greater risk of late diagnosis for cancer treatment.
In the light of these circumstances, you and your Health Minister will certainly understand the grave suspicion held of the health service when it is made known that sensitive medical services are being contracted to an individual to whom racist remarks have been attributed. PNPUK recognises the harmful effect of algorithms inadvertently or otherwise riddled with racism and used to provide health.
As a matter of principle and certainly to protect the health of the black British people PNPUK suggest that the NHS contract with The Phoenix Partnership owned by Frank Hester be at least reviewed and at best revoked. Comments ascribed to Mr. Hester is part of an ongoing malaise and stain on British society which serves only to crush the British values that define us.
In accepting support from sources even loosely associated with this stain suggests a moral vacuum of this government and ultimately of the Conservative Party. To free itself of this charge the Conservative party is bound by honour and deference to British values to return financial support or any other support received from dubious sources including Mr. Hester.
In addition, PNPUK expects the Prime Minister to lead the house of commons in assuring Ms Abbott and other black female MPs of its support. We implore the prime minister or home secretary to offer Ms Abbott the same support and protection received by Salman Rushdie when his life was threatened and ultimately gravely endangered. We look forward to hearing of evidence of progress on this matter and thank you for your kind consideration.
